GA Academy × HC Park Visit to the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire

The GA Academy and HC Park delegation paid an official visit to the Embassy of Côte dIvoire in China, where they met with the Attaché for Economic and Cultural Affairs to explore strategic cooperation frameworks.

The discussions focused on advancing cultural diplomacy between China and Côte d’Ivoire through education, innovation, and people-to-people exchange. Key emphasis was placed on building structured pathways to support African student placement in China, including academic bridging programs, micro-credentials, language preparation, and integration with Chinese universities and vocational institutions—particularly within the Greater Bay Area ecosystem.

In parallel, the parties explored startup and entrepreneurship solutions tailored for Ivorian and broader African youth. This included access to HC Parks incubation facilities, applied technology labs (AI, IoT, digital business), mentorship networks, and market-entry support to help African founders pilot and scale projects in China while maintaining strong links to their home markets.

Key collaboration elements discussed

  • Education as a tool of cultural diplomacy and South–South cooperation
  • Student recruitment, placement, and support services in China
  • Joint promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship for African youth
  • Startup incubation, skills training, and industry exposure via HC Park
  • Establishing a follow-up working mechanism with the Embassy

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continue dialogue and define pilot initiatives that translate diplomatic engagement into tangible education, talent, and startup outcomes connecting China and Côte d’Ivoire.
