UNITAR International University (UNITAR) is a visionary, private, higher-learning institution. Established in 1997, we are known for being the first virtual university in Southeast Asia and one of the pioneering private universities in Malaysia. Our aim is to provide a platform for lifelong learning opportunities that prepares students at all stages of their lives.

Our state-of-the-art main campus is situated in Kelana Jaya and is supported by 11 other independent campuses spread throughout West and East Malaysia. UNITAR offers a range of skilled-based and international pathway programmes. Course content are designed with a view to embrace experiential learning and technology-assisted delivery. Students will experience real-world learning whilst assisted by state-of-the-art teaching, effectively delivered by various learning modes.

An extensive Knowledge Management Centre boasts millions of reading materials in both print and electronic formats. We are subscribed to multi-disciplinary databases which consists of electronic journals, e-books, reports, online theses and a plagiarism checker.

Computer laboratories are equipped with the latest systems to facilitate our objective of 21st century teaching and learning. With wireless connectivity, our students pursue their studies in or beyond classroom walls seamlessly. To facilitate hands-on experience in the culinary field, UNITAR has three kitchen spaces; for preparation, pastry and culinary and a training restaurant and cafeteria. The facility faculty boasts a mock housekeeping suite. These have been put onto place for students to have a supportive working environment to sharpen their practical training skills.
